My Journey
Growing up I received top notch education as a classical percussionist from members of the Albany Symphony Orchestra. In addition to classical percussion, I performed in my award winning high school jazz ensemble as both a drummer and vibraphonist. While in college, I studied recording and production which gave me good insight into how a studio session should operate most efficiently, and what the role of a drummer in a studio setting means. Since moving to Brooklyn in 2021, I have had consistent work as both a drummer for hire, as well as a session player for a variety of different projects. In addition, I teach at the Williamsburg School of Music where I develop personalized curriculum for each of my students to help meet their needs and goals.
What I Offer
As a freelance drummer, I collaborate with musicians and bands in live performances and studio sessions. As a teacher, I provide very technique forward coaching and cater every lesson to meet my students wants and needs. I have taught absolute beginners, professional drummers, and everything in between. My commitment to excellence drives my passion for both drumming and education, helping clients and students find their unique musical voice.
